ABOUT DR. AURORA FLEMMING

Something you notice, once you start paying attention: the women who need the most support are usually the last to ask for it.
They're running departments. Raising children. Managing households, careers, marriages, and ageing parents — simultaneously, without complaint. They do everything they are told to do. On paper, everything looks fine.
And they don't feel fine.
That gap — between what the data says and what a woman actually lives — is where the last decade of my work has been.
The Work That Changed My Direction
I didn't set out to write about women's health. I set out to understand my own exhaustion, and I went looking in the research because nothing else I had been offered explained it.
What I found was a pattern I couldn't stop seeing: high-functioning women, 35 to 55, living with fatigue, hormonal disruption, mood instability, and a quiet, persistent sense that a version of themselves they once knew had gone somewhere they couldn't reach. And a body of research with a great deal to say about all of it — most of which never reached the women it was about.
The science wasn't missing. The translation was.
So that is what I do. I read the work — metabolic health, hormonal physiology, burnout, sleep, light, nutrition — and I turn it into something a woman can actually use on a Tuesday, in the life she already has.
Glow & Thrive is a decade of that reading in one place. Zen Haven is how it reaches the women it was written for.
What I Believe
Your exhaustion is not a character flaw.
The fatigue, the hormonal shifts, the creeping sense of invisibility — these are not signs of weakness. They are signals. And signals are information. Information is the beginning of change.
The women I write for are not broken. They are over-extended, under-supported, and operating on outdated information about their own bodies and what is possible for them in the second half of life. My purpose is to change that.
The Approach
Everything at Zen Haven is built on three principles:
Credibility over trends.
Where the research supports something, I say so plainly. Where it doesn't, I say that too — in plain language, without the jargon that keeps women out of their own health conversations.
Practical over perfect.
Tools that work in real lives, with real schedules and real demands. Not ideal conditions that don't exist.
The whole person, not just the symptoms.
Your hormones, your career, your relationships, and your financial confidence are connected. Treating one in isolation is half a solution at best. Zen Haven addresses all of it — because she is all of it.
A Note to You
If you've found your way here, I suspect you're somewhere in the middle of a reckoning.
You've achieved what you set out to achieve. You have the career, the family, the life that looked right from the outside. And yet something is missing — or something that was once very much alive in you has gone quiet in a way you haven't told anyone about yet.
That is not the end of something.
That is the beginning.
Everything on this site was written for you specifically. Not for a general audience. Not for women just starting their wellness journey. For you — the woman who has been through enough to know the difference between noise and signal, and who is finally ready to listen to what her own body has been trying to tell her.
You've earned your peace. Let's go get it.
